By: Prof. Dr. med. dent. Kai-Hendrik Bormann, 19th & 20th of April 2024.
The integration of digital technologies, such as digital volume tomography & intraoral scanners in dentistry has led to the importance of digital implant planning becoming increasingly important.
This advancement, coupled with improved implant geometries and contemporary surfaces, not only reduces treatment times for patients but also facilitates procedures like immediate implants and immediate restorations.
This two-day course will commence with the demonstration of these modern technologies through case studies and video presentations. The second day will focus on an in-depth explanation of the CoDiagnostiX®️ planning program, providing participants with comprehensive training on its functionalities. Working collaboratively on laptops provided, attendees will engage in a hands-on, step-by-step case planning process – from loading the Dicom data set to designing the drill guide.
The jointly designed drill guide will then be used in practical sessions for guided implant drilling and insertion of BLX implants.
